DFW Connector Project

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), through its contractor NorthGate Constructors, designed and constructed more than $1 billion in improvements to SH 114 and SH 121 through the DFW Connector Project.

Work on this project was substantially completed in November 2013, with all major work finished and traffic in its final configuration.
FM 2499, Grapevine Mills Parkway
As a change order to the DFW Connector project, TxDOT has contracted with NorthGate Constructors to design and build nearly $90 million of improvements to FM 2499 (Grapevine Mills Parkway) from SH 121 to north of Denton Creek. Work started in late-2013 and is scheduled to be completed in 2017.

Notice of Public Hearing -- Dallas Road Corridor/ Cotton Belt Trail Extension  


State Highway 26 / Colleyville Boulevard / Grapevine Highway
TxDOT, in partnership with the City of Colleyville, is widening from John McCain Road to just east of Pool Road / Brumlow Avenue. The project includes widening the road from four lanes to six lanes with raised median and replacement of the bridge over Big Bear Creek. Work east of Big Bear Creek is located within Grapevine.

The $13.0 million project started construction in Summer 2012, and is expected to be completed in late-2014.
